I picked up my Versailles CDJapan package today at the post office and, I kid you not, the worker had to wear a dust mask and disposable gloves when handling my package. I stared at her for a bit then asked her if there was something wrong. She told me that they have to do that when handling anything from Japan now, then stepped back away from the package saying she should be okay from that distance.
Seems a bit of an overkill to me.

Is this guy serious, really is he. That is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever read when it comes to why people should be having kids. He states this stuff like it the absolute truth in all cases. It almost beats the good old "You should give it a try" that's told to childless by choice people. You don't give children a try like some car you can return if you don't like it. WTF is wrong with people getting so bent out of shape when they hear someone doesn't want any (I get it all the time). Few things get me more worked up than pro-children fanatics. And I really can't stand it when people go on and on about how completely selfless it is and they are so much better then us "selfish" no children people. No, you're really not better, or even more selfless.

This thing probably annoys me so bad because I'm one of the "selfish freaks" who doesn't like kids, doesn't enjoy their company, nor wants anything to do with having them.

I swear I'd keep this little guy dancing on my table all day :3

I'm going to Mechacon. Since Versailles isn't coming this year, I have vacation time needing to be used before November, and my friend is already going, I've asked to join her. I hope it turns out being fun. I really want to tour around New Orleans over being at the convention most of the time though.
